About
My name is Alexa Young
I grew up in the late 80s, surrounded by early video games, cartoons, and music that stuck.
I picked up a Minolta SLR young and became interested in what happens in the quiet parts of an image. Shadows, texture, grain. The things people usually miss. I spent years working in corporate environments, including the oil industry. Structured, efficient, creatively hollow. Eventually, film found its way back in.

My first short film, Gypsy & The Devil, reopened a door I’d closed for a long time. Cameras, editing, and visual storytelling. It felt familiar for a reason.

I now work as a videographer, photographer, and editor, focusing on honest visuals and strong narratives. I’m interested in people, atmosphere, and moments that feel real rather than polished for the sake of it.
